What Is Daybreak Church?
Daybreak Church is a United Methodist Church. But it’s a United Methodist Church with a difference. At Daybreak, we don’t do things the same old way, because we believe that God’s love for us can make every day new.
Daybreak is known for:

Why Daybreak Church?
Daybreak United Methodist Church is a brand new church designed for people who are not currently active in an existing church. Daybreak is committed to:
- Be user friendly by expressing the Christian faith in contemporary ways, without compromising the truth.

- Be a positive place for kids and youth.
- Help people deepen their faith by providing a clearly defined path for spiritual growth.
Daybreak’s pastor, Jim Hawkins, is an ordained pastor in The United Methodist Church. Jim is a graduate of Northwestern University and Wesley Theological Seminary. In addition to serving as Daybreak’s pastor, Jim is a published author. Jim lives in Smyrna with his wife, Kathleen, and son, Peter.
